HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Image
Naval Admiral William H. McRaven returned to his alma mater last week and spoke to the graduates with lessons he learned from his basic SEAL training. Here’s his amazing Commencement Address at University of Texas at Austin 2014 from Business Insider. The University’s slogan is, “What starts here changes the world.” I have to admit—I kinda like it. “What starts here changes the world.” Tonight there are almost 8,000 students graduating from UT. That great paragon of analytical rigor, Ask.Com says that the average American will meet 10,000 people in their lifetime. That’s a lot of folks. But, if every one of you changed the lives of just ten people—and each one of those folks changed the lives of another ten people—just ten—then in five generations—125 years—the class of 2014 will have changed the lives of 800 million people. 800 million people—think of it—over twice the population of the United States. Go one more generation and you can change the entire popu

LATEST CANCER INFORMATION

LATEST CANCER INFORMATION from Johns Hopkins AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY … 1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size. 2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime. 3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors. 4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors. 5. To overcome the multiple nutritional

What makes news - Hotels Business

Image
Facts It is a known fact that recreational Hotel business fluctuates with seasons across the globe, Investors in the industry know this well in advance before they commit resources . Milking the season Most industry players take advantage of the peak seasons to make their kill, It is in these seasons that labor force is increased, in order to match and  impress the many clients who patronize different hotels, this also applies to  other joints that tap the same source. Visitors are thoroughly engaged during their stay through entertainment programs and sumptuous themed  meals . Half time In low season the leisure market segment shrinks, and so does all the variables including labor force. Owners take advantage of the time to upgrade  their products through renovations and face lifts, in order to maintain their competitive edge. Most Hotels close shop yearly  to achieve this especially in the Kenyan coast.   Recent development in destination KE. A disabled bishop has reported to police claims that he was forced to crawl from the plane of a local airline. Bishop Jackson Kosgei of Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya has said he had to crawl from the plane at JKIA after staff said they could not help him get down. After a 40-minute standoff, Bishop Kosgei says he was ordered to alight on his own by Fly540 attendants when it landed at JKIA from Eldoret in spite of his disability. He complained about his treatment to JKIA police and OB No 18/11/5/2014 states that the airline staff refused to allow anybody to support him as he disembarked http://nairobinews.nation.co.ke/fly540-drama/ THE RESPONSE FROM FLY540 IS VERY  NON-COMMITTAL AND HAS ALOT OF DENIAL- HUMANITY SHOULD PREVAIL OVER  EVERYTHING I BELIEVE - OTHER AIRLINES ARE DOING IT ANYWAY. Response to media articles regarding Bishop Jackson Kosgei: “We commend and support Bishop Jackson Kosgei and his tireless work to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by less-

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN YOU ARE ALONE

Image
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, an d the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives Thanks to JD Scott.
